"Control" a self-portrait photograph by PhenomenaLewis made in September of 2022. In this photograph we can see PhenomenaLewis, a dark-skinned Black woman, holding a transparent colorful sphere while wearing an orange dress that she's simultaneously sitting on against a salmon pink background with a Black rectangle in the center of it.

"Sur La Table" a self-portrait photograph by PhenomenaLewis, made in November of 2022, photographed in Orquevaux, France.
In this photograph, PhenomenaLewis, a dark-skinned Black woman, is slightly veiled with a sheer curtain behind a table with a still life of shells, a feather, a book, and more sheer fabric in deep rouge hues. When I made this photograph, I wanted to create a still life aesthetic because I was in France and I wanted to emulate the vibes from over there and created this self portrait.
