"Passive" a self-portrait photograph by PhenomenaLewis, photographed in her bedroom in April of 2022. When I made this self-portrait, it was at the beginning of the lockdown and I remembered I had this fake gas mask and I wanted to, in my own way document that point in life, but I wasn't feeling excited or upset or anything, I was feeling passive the entire time photographing this session. During the start of the pandemic, I wasn't feeling anxious or scared like everyone else, I was thinking, this suck but what happens, happens we just need to roll with the punches.
