March 2020 Self Portrait Digital Photograph 32in X 40in This self-portrait photograph, Evolved, was my first photograph in color and to me it was the start of a new era in my art career. I was evolving from Black and white and monochromatic dark toned artworks to colorful and vibrant art. It was a shift in my mentality as well where at first, I was creating art to make people uncomfortable, now I want to make people feel comfortable and soft, same with myself. I wanted to make people feel uncomfortable because I was uncomfortable, I was uncomfortable with anxiety, paranoia and pent-up tension of not feeling free. It's a new era of healing for me and my art and it started with this self-portrait right here.
